Osher Reentry Scholarship Recipients
The Osher Reentry Scholarship Program is made possible through a generous funding from The Bernard Osher Foundation. Scholarships of up to $5,000 annually have been available to students who have been admitted to the Cal Poly Adult Degree Program, have experienced a gap in their path to an undergraduate degree, and demonstrate financial need. Additionally, recipients of the Osher Reentry Scholarship must demonstrate commitment to the pursuit of their degree and the likelihood of making a contribution to the larger community upon graduation.
An Osher Reentry Scholarship applicant must also meet all of the following eligibility criteria:
- Must have been admitted to California Polytechnic State University in the Adult Degree Program;
- Must be continuously enrolled for at least six units during the fall, winter and spring quarters of the academic year;
- Must demonstrate the potential to succeed in her or his course of study; and
- Must remain in good academic standing throughout the academic year. Osher Reentry Scholars who do not remain in good academic standing will forfeit the scholarship.
The Adult Degree Program is proud to announce that the Osher Reentry Scholarship has awarded over $94,000 in scholarships to our Adult Degree Program students since its inception. Congratulations to the following recipients:
